Therapeutic Cold Laser in Toronto
Therapeutic Cold Laser, otherwise known as Low Level Laser Therapy – LLLT, is used to deliver specific red and near-infrared wavelengths of laser light to induce a photochemical reaction and therapeutic effect. Physiological effects include increased circulation, reduced inflammation, pain reduction and enhanced tissue healing.
Laser therapy is specifically beneficial to accelerate healing of broken bones and fractures. LLLT is also advantageous because it penetrates deeper than therapeutic ultrasound therapy.
